Personalized Quality Images at Fair Rates. Since everyone wants something a little different, I have very few "package rates". It is much simpler if we discuss the kind of shoot you want, the number of different images (poses) you want, and whether or not you want a basic or advanced retouch of your images. I give you some pricing scenarios below. I don't believe in cookie cutter, "in and out" assembly line shoots. A good shoot takes some time. High class magazines don't book a model for a 15 minute photo shoot if they want a stunning cover image, and they are working with first class, professional models. A simple, one pose business head shot takes about 30 minutes for the shoot. An individual or family portrait session takes about an hour. A glamour or boudoir shoot takes 1-2 hours and a model portfolio shoot takes 2-3 hours. Senior pictures usually take about 3 hours. I take the time to do it right. People choose me as their photographer because I am fun to work with, because of my abilities behind the camera during the shoot, and my skill in the digital darkroom. You can read some endorsements here. When you choose a photographer, you are paying them for their time and their skill. This means a photographer that advertises a "free" photo shoot has to make up for that by charging you a lot more for the prints. Some photographers split the costs by charging a sitting fee and selling prints. But one way or another, you are paying photographers for their time. I think it is simpler for you to pay me for my time and you can have unlimited free prints. I give you a disc of all your retouched images to make all the prints you want). If you prefer the convenience of ordering prints from me rather than making your own, I have an online ordering site where you can order professional quality prints at reasonable prices from one of the best professional labs in the country. Even better, if I am doing senior pictures, an anniversary, or a wedding for you, your family and friends can go directly to the ordering site and order their own prints. You give them a link to the site and your job is done. You don't have to contact family and friends, take their print orders, collecting money from them, and figure out how to get prints back to all of them. Keep in mind, of course that you will have a disc of your digitally optimized images to make all the prints you want whenever and wherever you want. My prices are less than most of the other "personalized" studios in Columbus - the good ones that really take time to work with you. Why? My studio is in my home so I don't have an expensive "brick and mortar" studio to support. I value my time and my skills and set my prices accordingly. If you want exceptional quality and service at a fair price, we understand each other. Pricing Scenarios These are just representative examples. Tell me the kind of shoot you want (business head shot, individual or family portrait session, senior pictures, glamour shoot, model portfolio), the number of images (poses) you want, and the kind of retouching you want and I will give you a price. All of these examples include a disc of retouched images at no additional cost. A business executive wants a 30 minute photo shoot with one head shot (basic retouch) for a business web site. $60. An actress wants a one hour shoot and one or two glamour head shots (advanced retouch). $80-120. A parent wants a one hour shoot and three or four outdoor poses of their child (basic retouch). $100-125. A young woman wants a one hour glamour/boudoir shoot and two poses (advanced retouch) to surprise her husband on Valentine's Day. $120. A professional model wants a two hour shoot and 3 fully optimized images (advanced retouch) for her portfolio. $150. A senior wants a 3 hour shoot, 5-10 retouched photos (basic retouch), a disc of the retouched photos plus all the best photos, and an online site for family and friends to order prints. $150 - $250. A couple wants four hours of wedding and reception coverage, their ten favorite images retouched, a disc of the retouched photos plus all the best photos of the wedding, and an online ordering site for family and friends to order prints. $600.
