This Christmas sound and light display is computer controlled and was put up by Carson Williams in Mason, Ohio. The display was featured on the 11 p.m. news, November 30, 2005 on NBC channel 4 in Columbus, Ohio.

The music is "Wizards of Winter" by Trans-Siberian Orchestra. The sound volume outside is quite low so as not to drive the neighbors crazy. The music is broadcast via FM so you can listen to it on your car radio.

You can do simpler version of this at home with a "Christmas Kit" that will light several trees or other objects in three colors of lights for $1,000. The FM transmitter to broadcast the music to passing cars is another $250. Or you can just hook up some outdorr speakers (if you get along well with your neighbors). You provide the lights and trees and they provide the kit. The Christmas Kit comes from Animated Lighting. No trees of your own? You can buy trees and lights too.

This light display is posted several other places on the internet, including here and here
