Kirtland Temple
Kirtland, Ohio

Kirtland Temple, Early Morning Light

The Kirtland Temple, known also as the "House of the Lord", is a remarkable building. It is has been designated a NATIONAL HISTORIC LANDMARK by the National Park Service of the U.S. Department of the Interior due to its significance in U.S. history. It is well worth your time to take a tour.  Kirtland, Ohio is just east of Cleveland. The Temple is on Ohio State Highway 306, one mile south of I-90. Take exit 193.

Built in the 1830s by the "Church of the Latter Day Saints", it is owned and operated today by the Community of Christ. The photo above is from the south side.
